Finalmente il grande giorno e' arrivato ! Tra poco piu' di 7 ore partiremo per questa nuova avventura sulle tracce di Zanna Bianca lungo lo Yukon in Alaska e Canada. Nei giorni precedenti ci siamo concentrati molto sugli ultimi allenamenti assieme a Marco con due slitte di 8 cani ciascuna. Marco se la sta cavando BENISSIMO ed e' super eccitato. Ha un ottimo rapporto con i cani di Sebastian e questo e' molto importante.
Ieri, dopo innumerevoli peripezie di viaggio e' arrivato anche mio fratello Armen e dopo una lunga notte di preparazioni anche lui e' pronto per questa nuova sfida. Marco ed Armen partiranno con due slitte distinte di 8 cani intorno alle ore 14 dallo start della Yukon Quest sul fiume Chena in pieno centro citta'. Saranno seguiti dagli operatori TV su motoslitta per documentare fin dall' inizio questa avventura. Io ed Armen ci altereneremo alla guida di una slitta per accompagnare Marco.
Non appena raggiungeremo punti dotati di internet nei villaggi remoti, vi aggiornero' al meglio sperando di riuscire a scaricare anche alcune bellissime foto. Un abbraccio dal sempre vostro....

Finally the big day has arrived ! Within less than 7 hours we will leave for this new adventure trip on White Fang' s footprints in the Alaskan and Canadian Yukon. In the previous days we concentrated very much in the last training runs with Marco and two sleds with eight dogs each. He is very excited and he is acting VERY well with Sebastian' s dogs and this is very important.
Yesterday, after a lot of travel mishappenings, also my brother Armen arrived and after a long night of preparations he is ready for this new challenge. Marco and Armen will start with two separate sleds with 8 dogs around 2 pm from the Start of the Yukon Quest Race on the Chena River downtown. They will be followed by the TV cameramen on snowmobiles in order to cover this trip from the very beginning. I and Armen will alternate on the driving of the sled in order to go by with Marco.
As soon as we will reach some internet points in the remote villages, I will update you at the best of my abilities hoping to ba able to download some very nice photos. A big hug from the always yours
