Eccoci qua, dopo una notte intera a sistemare un rimorchio rotto per il trasporto delle motoslitte e poi tutte le atrezzature del mio team, siamo partiti a mezzogiorno da Big Lake alla volta di Nenana che dista 450 km a nord. Il cielo finalmente sereno ci ha regalato una delle più spettacolari scenografie naturali del Monte Mc Kinley ( Denali - il più grande -in lingua indiana )ed il passo che lo accompagna.

...here we are, after a whole night of repairing work for the trailer transporting the sno machines and the all the gear of my team, we left at noon Big Lake for Nenana 250 milesnorth. The sky finally clear has gifted us with some of the most spectacular scenaries of Mt. Mc Kinley ( Denali - the biggest - in Indian language) and the broad pass around it.

Siamo tutti ( 5 del TEAM piu' due autisti per i mezzi )qui adesso in una camera dell'unico motel di Nenana a definire gli ultimi particolari prima della partenza di domani a mezzogiorno.

...here we are all of us ( 5 of the Team plus two drivers for the trucks) in one room of the only motel in NENANA for discussing the last details before our start tomorrow at noon.

E' meglio che ora vado a riposare perche' da domani in poi...si balla sulle orme di Balto. Un abbraccio forte.
