Sunday the 5th October 2008 in Tarvisio - Fusine at 9:30 a.m.starts the Dryland Race "Challenge Italia - Esdra Cup 2008 - 2009" combined with the International Musher' s Meeting and Trade Fair.
As usual every year, it takes place traditionally in Tarvisio the first Dryland Race of the 2008 - 2009 season, organized by the International Mushing School managed by Ararad Khatchikian and Monica D' Eliso. There will be also combined the 4th edition of the "Meeting and Trade Fair of the Musher" where some producers of sleddog sport material will display their items.
Following the program of the event:
- from 8 am to 9 am : delivery of the bib numbers to the racers
- 9 am : mandatory Musher Meeting for all the racers with the Race Marshall
- 9:30 am : start of the first team
- 12:30 am approx. : end of the races
- 1 pm : musher' s lunch
- 2:30 pm : awards presentation
Entry fees including the lunch and beverage for the racers are : Euro 30 for 1 category, Euro 40 for 2 categories ( for SIM members Euro 15 e Euro 30 ) , Euro 15 for Juniors under 14 years of age ( for SIM members Euro 10 ). The entries MUST be turned in within Friday the 3rd of October to the Italian Federation Musher Sleddog Sport www.fimss.com or personally by hand to the International Mushing School in Tarvisio oppure ad ararad@ararad.net.
